Mysa Category are custom reporting tags that serve as flexible identifiers you can rename and customize to match your organization's accounting structure. These organizational constructs function as reporting tags within Zoho and can be applied at the individual line item level for granular financial analysis.
In this article we will cover adding and deactivating the Mysa Category
Admin, Finance Controller and Accountant can create or edit Mysa Categories
Steps to create a cost centre:
Log in to the Mysa dashboard
Navigate to the Profile setting on the top left of your screen and select "Org Settings"
Go to Mysa on the left navigation click + Add category
Enter the Mysa category name and click create
Note
1. Mysa category names are Unique
2. Mysa Category once created cannot be edited. They can only be deactivated.
Once created Mysa Categories are immediately available to apply to a bill
Steps to deactivate a Mysa Category:
Log in to the Mysa dashboard
Navigate to the Profile setting on the top left of your screen and select "Org Settings"
Go to Mysa Category on the left navigation, and navigate to the Mysa Category thats needs to be deactivated. Toggle the switch and confirm and the Mysa Category will be deactivated.
Once deactivated the Mysa Category will sit in the inactive tab. It can be activated back from there.
