Setting up your ICICI Bank account on Mysa
Updated 22 days ago

Before you begin

Before you start, you will need a few details from ICICI Bank. When ICICI Bank onboards you, you will be needing two sets of credentials:

  • CIB details — API key, Corp ID, User ID, Aggregator name, and Aggregator ID.

  • Composite API details — API key, BC ID, Passcode, and a list of other fields.

You will also need:

  • Your Private Key file — If you don't have this yet, refer to the Private Key setup guide before proceeding.

  • Access to the ICICI CIB portal

Not sure where to start or haven't received your credentials yet?

Just reach out to the Mysa support team and we'll help you get everything in order before you begin.

Once you have everything ready, the setup takes about 10–15 minutes.

Setup Steps

The setup has 6 steps. Most of them are the same for everyone; only Step 2 differs slightly depending on your approval state in your ICICI Bank onboarding.

Step 1 — Enter your credentials and Private Key

  • Go to Org Settings → Banking → Add New Account.

  • Fill in your CIB details as provided by ICICI Bank.

  • Upload your Private Key file.

  • Enter your certificate password. If there is no password, tick "No password for key".

  • Click Continue.

Step 2 — URN and portal approval

In this step, Mysa checks whether your ICICI Connected Banking setup is already approved by ICICI Bank. What you need to do depends on your current status.

  • If you already have a URN and the approval is already completed on the ICICI portal, follow Condition A.

  • If you already have a URN but the approval is still pending on the ICICI portal, follow Condition B.

  • If you do not have a URN yet, follow Condition C.

Condition A - I have a URN and my approval is already done

  • Select "Yes, I have a URN" and fill your URN.

  • Click Continue — Mysa will verify everything automatically.

  • No further action needed, you will move to Step 3.

Condition B - I have a URN but haven't completed the approval yet

  • Select "Yes, I have a URN" and fill your URN.

  • Click Continue — Mysa will detect that approval is pending.

  • Click "Open ICICI portal" and log in with your corporate credentials.

  • Go to Dashboard → Connected Banking → Connected Banking Approvals and complete the approval.

  • Come back to Mysa and click "I've Completed Registration".

Do not close the Mysa screen while completing the approval on the ICICI portal.

Condition C - I don't have a URN yet

  • Select "No, I don't have one".

  • Click Continue — Mysa will generate a URN for you.

  • Copy and save the URN displayed on screen.

Step 3 — Enter your Composite API details

  • Fill in your Composite API details as provided by ICICI Bank.

  • If you want to enable UPI for this account, you can check the 'Enable UPI for this account' checkbox and fill in the additional details.

  • Click Continue.

Step 4 — Enter your account details

  • Enter your ICICI Bank account number.

  • Enter your IFSC code.

  • Click Continue.

Step 5 — Mysa verifies your account (No inputs needed)

  • Mysa fetches your live account balance from ICICI Bank to verify the connection.

  • This takes just a few seconds.

  • Do not close or refresh the screen during this step.

Step 6 — Confirm and finish

  • Check your account details and balance shown on screen.

  • If all details are correct, click "Verify and Add Account".

  • Your account is now connected and you will be able to make payments with the connected ICICI account.

  • To view the ICICI Bank account, From the Home page, click on Profile → Org Settings → Banking section → Linked Accounts.

That's it — your ICICI account is now connected and ready to use on Mysa. If you run into any issues during setup, contact the Mysa support team and we will help you resolve it.
